The Alumni Office and Creative Writing Club invite you to a very special open mic night with Scott Elder.
Scott Elder studied at AUP and the University of Puget Sound. He lived as a street musician in Paris and London and later worked as a mime artist in France and Portugal before spending twelve years in a Buddhist hermitage in France. His poetry appeared in numerous journals in the UK and abroad including Orbis, Poetry Salzburg, Cypgers and The Moth (2017) and has been nominated for awards such as the Troubadour Poetry Prize 2016 and the Fish Poetry Prize 2017. Elder will be joined by current AUP students, who will be presenting their work.
Wine and light refreshments will be available. We look forward to seeing you there!
